Registry Updates and Enhancements

Site performance and design have been the priorities this month for Registry staff. See what’s new:

New server: Our new server hardware improves mapping speed and performance, and is the first step in preparing for future growth.

Mapping tool: New polygon design displays projects at a national level. State portal pages. You spoke and we listened. Design enhancements combine visual appeal and a more intuitive layout to make all state-specific reporting fast and efficient. Click over to the Oregon, Washington and Idaho state pages.

Project detail pages: New look and layout saves space on your desktop and shows more information at a glance.

Registry Welcomes PRISM Data

The Conservation Registry accepted 954 new projects from the State of Washington through an electronic data import this month. PRISM, a project management system operated by Washington State’s Office of Outdoor Recreation and Habitat Conservation, contains projects relating to the purchase, improvement, or protection of aquatic lands. Detailed funding information for each project, including matching funds, makes this a valuable addition to the Registry’s database. To view the new projects, go to Keywords and select “PRISM.”
